I have only been to Wilder once, and it was for an unexpected lunch visit...but I am so glad I did. I can only review a couple of items, but I look forward to my next visit already. I had a delicious steak salad, and I shared the grilled cheese with duck amd fig jam. Both were great...and I may be dreaming of that grilled cheese! Service was also amazing, and the space and location were perfect. I'll be back!

Ben was our server tonight and his attention to detail and creating an individualized experience for us really made this dinner special. They seated us before reservation, timelines of food and drink had good pacing, and the taste of the food was AMAZING! Their attention to how other customers were impacting our experience was appreciated. Staff were aware of where customer were and as they were walking through the restaurant so they never made me feel like a bother. Overall, customer awareness was centered. The presentation of the duck pasta dish was unexpected but tasted great, so I’d still recommend it. The chocolate double mousse desert was 10/10. The sea bass was also delicious. They had plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options for drinks.

Once again I had the Grilled Salmon Salad for lunch and it did not disappoint! It is so fresh and the salmon was cooked very well. (Perhaps I would have preferred it cooked a minute less, so it's even more tender in the middle, but it was delicious nonetheless!) The bartenders are knowledgeable and allow you to taste the wine before committing to a glass. Wilder is still one of my favorite places in the city (since they opened)

We had dinner here on a Saturday night and though we had reservations for a table, we decided to sit at the bar. We shared the beet salad to start which was tasty and a very good size for sharing. My sister had the steak and I had the chicken, both were very large portions. The only thing I would change is how cold the air was coming out of the vents in the bar area, it was freezing! I did love the food and the vibey atmosphere though!

Had the brunch menu so can’t really speak to the dinner, which I would really like to try. Overall many of the dishes are excellent, especially liked the brunch pasta dish, cooked perfectly and saucy. The only disappointing dish is the salad. Shoutout to the service which was top notch from beginning to end, attentive and always on point.

Everything about this place is amazing! I can’t get enough of it! Between the gorgeous interior design, the exceptional waiting staff, and the delicious food, I can only be obsessed with this place. I had already gone once with a friend for lunch, she had a toddler with her in a stroller and the staff was super accommodating. They gave us a table with easy access and we had a delicious lunch. Thanks to such a positive experience, I felt like I had to go back! That’s exactly what I did last night when I went back for dinner with that same friend. So how was it? Well, let’s just say, plates went back to the kitchen almost as clean as when they come out of the dishwasher. There is no other way to put it, it was just THAT good! I started with the Italian Salad and then I had the trout. The dressing on the salad is my weakness. That tanginess and creaminess is exactly what I look for in a dressing and the salad they picked went so well with it. Then the trout was cooked perfectly and went so well with the sweet potatoes and the kale. Divine! Also, special thought for the creamiest and most amazing triple cream cheesecake dessert. I can’t go back to other cheesecakes now. The whole time we where having dinner with my friend, we just kept going back to the seasoning because each dish is just so well seasoned. It’s rare to find a place perfectly consistent when it comes to seasoning. They are real professionals in the kitchen, that I am sure and I can tell! Also, the service was fabulous. Our waiter, Brian, was so nice and attentive to us throughout the evening. We didn’t have a dirty table once (he kindly cleaned it between meals) and we never had to ask for water. If you go to Wilder, I really hope you get to have Brian as your waiter! Anyway, if you haven’t been yet and you are considering going, don’t think twice and book that table ☺️

Fantastic experience at Wilder in Philly this May 2026 UPenn Wharton Reunion weekend! Wilder came highly recommended by friends, several of whom told me they regularly host their board meeting dinners in the beautiful upstairs dining room — and now I can see why. Huge shoutout to Prior, the event manager, who went above and beyond trying to expand our reservation from 11 to 14 people before the weekend even started — and then our group somehow grew again from 14 to 20. Carolyn, our server, handled it all with incredible grace, professionalism, and warmth throughout the night. The entire team was accommodating at every step, the food was excellent, and the vibe was outstanding. Really impressed by the hospitality and execution from the Wilder team. Thanks for making our Wharton MBA 25th reunion even more memorable!

Impressed with the quality of the food, service, and overall experience! Attended a wedding reception in the upper level -- 3 course meal with appetizers and drinks were all delicious. The steak was the most tender I've ever had!

Wilder completely exceeded our expectations! My mother and I came for brunch and genuinely enjoyed every single detail, from the vibrant atmosphere to the incredible food and drinks. We are already planning our next visit with more family and friends. The Drinks:The cocktail program here is clearly crafted with immense thought and care. We tried the Oven Roasted Bloody Mary, Pop & Fizz, and Coffee Shop Talk. Every single option was balanced, creative, and expertly mixed. The Food:We shared a few plates, and the flavors were outstanding:Burrata & Spring Peas: Fresh, vibrant, and beautifully presented.Mafaldine Alla Vodka: An absolute standout! It was rich, comforting, and truly "chef's kiss."Caesar Salad: The dressing and croutons were delicious and homemade. The lettuce quality fell slightly short the day we went, but the overall flavor was still great.

took mom out for dinner last night, we had an amazing time! inside was gorgeous, moody, and clean. i love to see a lively restaurant, especially on a monday! our server, dylan, was wonderful as well! and the food was absolutely delicious. we ordered the calamari, mushroom pasta, and crab pasta. the calamari was so fresh and both pasta dishes were so unique and cooked perfectly. we also hung around for bomboloi and chocolate mousse cake, which were both spectacular as well. definitely 11/10 will be back!!
